BOM VIVER 2011 DOURO DOC

This wine is a tribute of three siblings to their best childhood moments spent in the Douro region, at Quinta do Espinho, over the Bom Viver (‘Good Living’) place. Produced with the grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca and Tinta Roriz– through foot-treading and fermentation in old granite wine presses. Full-bodied wine, deeply coloured, combines red fruits and violet flower aromas.

GRAPE VARIETIES: Tinta Roriz (40%), Touriga Nacional (33%), Touriga Franca (25%), Tinta Barroca (2%).
COLOUR: Clear, deep garnet red colour with violet shades.
AROMA: Rich in fruity aromas, red and dry fruits and floral aromas.
TASTE: Fruity, soft, harmonious and persistent.
VINIFICATION: Destemming, maceration through foot treading, fermentation in granite ‘lagars’ (wine presses).
BEST WITH: Meet and game dishes, cheese.
